Ezekiel Z Swinford was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and his family moved to Texas shortly after. Texas has been his home ever since. An entertainer at heart, Ezekiel began putting on shows and performances for his family, friends, and schools at a young age.
In high school, Ezekiel was given an opportunity to grow his acting skills in the Drama department, and even served as the president of the Thespian Troupe. In his senior year, he would join the Scarborough Academy of Performing Arts (SAPA) as an improvisational actor at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival. Through SAPA, Ezekiel became involved with The Motley Players, an improvisational comedy troupe.
Ezekiel attended the University of Texas Arlington, as a Theatre Arts major. He was involved in both the Theatre and the Radio/Television/Film departments while enrolled.
Due to family circumstances, Ezekiel stepped away from acting for numerous years, instead, focusing on other ventures. He would move to Austin, Texas, and become a certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor.
In 2016, Ezekiel returned to acting by starring in the meta-horror feature film, Virgin Cheerleaders In Chains. After a series of short films, Ezekiel was cast as Matt Fisk in National Geographic's global mini-series, The Long Road Home, in 2017.
